Attracting 4.5 million visitors per year Colchester is an easy day trip from London, in the county of Essex.

Colchester has the most continental climate in Britain with hot summers, cold winters coupled with year-round sunshine and the lowest rainfall in the United Kingdom. This makes it a premier wine growing region.
